Raintight NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) power inlet box. Durable, high impact, glass-filled nylon construction. Designed to be used with a generator and transfer switch. Should be installed on the exterior of a structure, at least 24' above grade, and near the main electrical panel. Inside, it is hardwired to the manual transfer switch. Ground post incorporated into enclosure. To restore power to the main electrical panel when the power goes out, connect one end of a power cord to a portable generator outlet and the other end into the power inlet box. 125/150 VAC (volts alternating current). Maximum generator size: 7500 watts. 5" W x 5" H x 6" L, 2 lb. 2 year warranty.

Raintight NEMA 3R power inlet box is designed for the use with the Pro/Tran transfer switches and Reliance Panel/Link manual transfer panels and generator-ready load centers. The power inlet box may be installed indoors, or outdoors in an open area where the generator is being used. Using 1 of the 4 combination 1/2 In. and 3/4 In. knockouts (1 on each side, bottom, and back) the power inlet box can be wired directly to the transfer switch or panel. The exclusive patented design provides generous wiring space and facilitates rough-in. The PR series includes circuit breakers that match the amperage of the power inlet. UL (Underwriter's Laboratories) listed.
